The Rifle Community Foundation funding cycle operates on a biannual basis with application deadlines of April 1 and October 1 for the calendar year. If your organization is interested in applying for a grant from the Rifle Community Foundation, please select the appropriate link below to download a printable application. If all necessary and pertinent information is contained with the submitted application, the applicant will be informed of the grant status within a month following each application deadline. The Rifle Community Foundation reserves the right to request any additional information from an applicant that it deems necessary for the approval of the grant.

Drug and Alcohol Programs Grant
The City of Rifle has provided $41,000 to the Rifle Community Foundation to be distributed to entities that address the impacts of drug and alcohol usage in the Rifle community. The following criteria apply to entities seeking grants from the Drug and Alcohol fund:
- Applicants must complete the Rifle Community Foundation Human or Community services grant application form.
- The funds can be used for any program that addresses the impacts of any problem drug and alcohol usage, including marijuana, for those children 18 years old or under living in the jurisdiction of the Garfield County RE-2 School District. This includes educational efforts and treatment.
- The funds should be used for direct intervention with the person or persons actually experiencing personal drug and alcohol abuse. Directing funds to address tangential problems of other family, friends or relationships will not be considered. However voluntary counseling for parents of children abusing drugs or alcohol may be considered.
- Applicants must be a 501c(3), government, special district or organization under the oversight of another organization with similar qualifications.
- Rifle Community Foundation requests for clarification of concepts proposed in an application may be made directly to an applicant during the review process.
